Optional Rule - Enviromental Challenges

Draw You...Locked Door?

    Have you ever felt like shootin' things that aren't people...and not even as a means of settling some dispute with a money-grubbin' merchant, but just because there's something in your way? Well, here's a way to do that! Enviromental challenges are a type of contest that lasts only 1 round. They don't involve a pool like contests or duels so money isn't lost or gained (except in 1 instance). Any outlaw wanting to participate makes a bet and the obstacle has a bet determined by an appropriate enemy's maximum bet. Coins are flipped, totals compared, and if 1 or more of the outlaws' bet results are greater than the obstacle's they succeed. If not, the outlaws can still overcome the obstacle by unloading on it. They shoot until their guns run dry, and break down whatever was in the way. Then, they have to pay for more ammo of course (10% the cost of their guns).
